Our Directors

Nick Bradley

With over 30 years of recruitment experience, Nick Bradley brings a wealth of industry insight and leadership. He spent 22 years in senior roles at a $1 billion global recruitment firm before co-founding Adepto Technical Recruitment in 2015.

Nick’s technical foundation lies in Electrical, Control & Instrumentation Engineering, a discipline he has specialised in throughout his career.

Adepto delivers tailored recruitment solutions—contingent, retained, and global MSP/RPO models—to highly regulated sectors such as Chemical and Pharmaceutical. The business not only manages recruitment but also oversees supply chain operations for both permanent and contract hiring. This includes payroll, compliance, and fiscal management across more than 20 countries.

With a clear strategy and a robust service offering, Adepto has grown into one of the fastest-growing consultancies in its sector. Nick is uniquely positioned to support organisations in shaping agile, scalable, and global talent acquisition and workforce solutions.

Lee Knowles

Lee Knowles entered the technical recruitment industry in 1997, working his way up to managing the £100m+ revenue UK operations of an international corporate, and becoming a founding Director of Adepto in 2015. Lee is a chemical engineering recruitment specialist, with strong links to the IChemE and a candidate pool 20 years in the making. Lee is widely regarded for his knowledge and professionalism; he is equally comfortable working on temporary/contract assignments, permanent recruitment, and indeed managing headhunting campaigns for niche or managerial positions.

Lee Knowles

Robert Collier

Robert Collier’s career in the engineering and manufacturing recruitment industry began in 2003 and since then he has progressed from Trainee Recruitment Consultant through the ranks to a Managing Consultant and in 2016 he became a Director at Adepto. Robert specialises in mechanical engineering, project engineering and management, and manufacturing and production roles within the chemicals and pharmaceutical sectors.

Throughout his time in the recruitment industry Robert has covered both temporary contract and permanent staff vacancies in equal measure. Additionally, under the Adepto banner, Robert has spearheaded a number of retained recruitment assignments for niche and managerial positions, and also full scale exclusive recruitment campaigns for single-client multiple hires. He enjoys working closely with companies and creating bespoke recruitment solutions.

David Arnold

David Arnold entered the recruitment industry in 2006 as a graduate in Biological Sciences and joined a large global organisation as a Trainee Consultant specialising in Life Science recruitment. David progressed to Recruitment Manager for the UK Life Science business in 2013 and managed a multidisciplined team covering both contract and permanent recruitment divisions. David joined Adepto in 2016 as a Director and has helped to make Adepto the partner of choice to numerous manufacturers, technology developers, consultants and engineering services providers.

 As a recruitment professional David has a broad knowledge across all major employment disciplines within the engineering and technical market but is best known for his extensive network and market leading expertise within the Commissioning, Qualification and Validation Engineering sector. He has supplied CQV professionals to all major Life Science sectors including pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device.
